MY GUINEA PIG ATE A BUNCH OF POTATO PEELS, WHAT DO I DO?!!?

We just bought 2 guinea pigs, and some stupid lady told us that they love vegetables, even potatos so we shouldn't throw them away, we should give them to our guinea pigs. So we did, cause we thought this lady could be trusted. After all, she did say she had fifty guinea pigs at one point in time. Well, I was just researching what else guinea pigs can eat online when I read that potatoes are poisonous!! Oh my GOD! Is my guinea pig going to die?!! I removed all potato peels from the cage, what else should I do? Prepare them for their burial?!
