Can you mix Tramadol with Robaxin?

Just wondering, because I was prescribed Tramadol for my broken hand that the doctor botched up which it's now been broken for 5 months, hasn't healed at all because of the way they put the casts on, so I just don't wear a cast anymore. But back on to the question.. I was prescribed Tramadol for my hand and ankle, had surgery on it a while back. And I've just been prescribed Robaxin (muscle relaxer) for my back and neck, I have a herniated disc in my neck and two bulging discs in my back. Please no sarcastic comments, and I've already read the page on Tramadol at drugs.com so I know it says it's not good to mix it.. but regardless, just wondering if it's safe considering Tramadol doesn't contain Acetaminophen and is simply a synthetic-opiate. I imagine it'll have me feeling groggy.. as tramadol usually does unless I eat something first, but that I don't really care about, just need to know if it's safe or not to mix the two for pain.
