Dogs paw is swollen and pinky puss coming out?

So, yesterday my dog was outside [shes a jack russell]. She's allowed to run around the yard because we have a huge yard. Sometimes she goes in the woods. We live in Georgia so there's a lot of snakes, spiders, and scorpions. Well anyways, my mom found her outside with her paw lifted in the air. We brought her in, and within 10 minutes it was swollen to triple the size it normally is. We took to flash light to look closer and there was pink puss dripping out. Then later that night it was bleeding. We cleaned it with salt water, and then antibacterial soap and water. Its still pretty swollen now too, do you think this was a bite? If so, does it seem like whatever bit her was poisonous? Thanks for the help.
