Are cats allergic to aloe Vera plants?

My cat recently got bit on his leg and we got cat meds from vet and when we came home he had a burn on on of his paws so we just put a lil bit of aloe Vera plant on it and he just licked it off... Will this make him sick ( he's an outdoor cat so he might have already ate some before ) online it says it poisonous he only had like a dime tho.. I want an answer that is from a person who had personal experience .. Thx :)
