Why are the Republicans removing the FDA regulations that protect us from poisonous foods?

Do you know all of the those movies that come out about the apocalypse and the end of the world whereas humans have made stupid mistakes that cause these things to happen? Well republicans are the type of people that were in power and caused those things to happen. you know..ignoring planetary issues like global warming, removing fda regs, invading countries without just cause...etc.
