I read onion and garlic are poisonous to Siberian Huskies, is that true?

There is garlic powder in my husky's food 'Wellness Just for Puppy' dog food. Will the garlic amount affect my husky in any way? even just a little bit? ALSO, what are some fruits and vegetables that huskies LOVE that I can use to praise him with.
